The Reno Swing Set plays a variety of music including Bluegrass, Dawg Music, Celtic, Gypsy Jazz, Swing Tunes of the 30’s and 40’s, and Western Swing. All with acoustic instrumentation.

The Reno Swing Set members are:  Bill McKean–Guitars, Michael Madan–Mandolin, Jon Anderson–Flute, Saxes, Pennywhistle and percussion, and Linda Madan–Acoustic Upright Bass.

The Reno Swing Set has been  together for about four years and have performed to appreciative audiences in Reno, Virginia City, Carson City,  Moab Utah, Grass Valley Ca., and recently at The Strawberry Music Festival.  In addition, we have  performed last  summer at The Bowers Mansion Bluegrass Festival, last fall at The Millpond Music Festival in Bishop Ca. and again in Moab Utah, as well as providing live music to silent movies at the Good Luck MacBeth Theater in Midtown, Reno for three years running .  We also appeared at The Susanville Bluegrass Festival this past June and  were a part of Artown in Reno this past July and The Jazz and More Festival in Carson City.
